The deadline each state's statute sets for a landlord to return your security deposit (or send an itemized statement) after you move out — transcribed row-by-row from the official state legislature or code publisher linked in each row. This dataset is held for legal review and is not published as verified. 39 of 51 jurisdictions carry a transcribed value; 10 read "Under legal review" because an independent primary-source check found a missing branch, trigger or section defect there; the rest are explicitly "Not yet verified". No value here is attorney-reviewed — every row is sourced from an official page but NOT attorney-reviewed; confirm against the linked statute before you rely on it. Deadlines often shift with conditions (itemization, lease type, forwarding address, penalties), so read the statute text, not just the number.

Limitations: statutes carry conditions this single number cannot express (itemization duties, business vs. calendar days, forwarding-address requirements, penalty provisions, local ordinances); legislatures amend deadlines; and no row has completed attorney review. Status per row: sourced_unverified (official source linked, pending legal review), under_legal_review (a defect was found and the value is withheld until re-verified), or not_yet_verified. Review state for the whole dataset: legal_review_required.
