Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Manage or cancel from your App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Profile → Payments & subscriptions) account. Cancelling stops future renewals at the end of the current period.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Or request it on our Delete account page.

Is Renter Shield legal advice?

No. Renter Shield provides legal information and organizational tools, not legal advice, and is not a law firm. For anything serious or time-sensitive, talk to a licensed attorney or legal aid.

The AI gave me something that looks wrong — what do I do?

Use the in-app "Report inaccurate guidance" / flag control on any answer, and always verify legal figures with an official source or legal aid. Laws change, and unverified figures are flagged in the app.

Is my information private?

Yes — Renter Shield is local-first; your evidence, letters, and notes stay on your device. See our Privacy summary.
